AI features and your data
Effective 2 October 2026
UltraROAS.ai uses AI models from OpenAI for two features, and lets you connect AI tools of your own. This page explains what data each one uses.
1. Ask UltraROAS
Ask UltraROAS answers questions about your workspace in plain words. You are talking to an AI model, not a person. To answer, it looks up your data using a fixed set of read-only lookups, the same reports you see on the pages, and only data your role already lets you see.
We send OpenAI your question, the earlier messages in that conversation and the results of those lookups. These can include account, campaign and product names and performance figures. Every figure in an answer is linked to the lookup it came from, with the account, period and when the data was last imported from Google.
Operators and administrators can ask it to draft a budget change, a campaign pause or a negative keyword. Drafts appear in Changes for a person to approve; Ask UltraROAS cannot approve or send anything.
Conversations are visible only to the person who had them, and are deleted 180 days after the last message, or sooner if you delete them.
2. AI feed suggestions
When you ask for suggestions, we send OpenAI a product's existing title, description, brand and attributes from Merchant Center, and it drafts an improved version. Prices, stock levels and performance figures are not sent. Suggestions are only published to Merchant Center after you approve them.
3. How OpenAI handles your data
We use OpenAI's API with storage turned off, so requests are not kept for later use in conversations. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models, and may keep requests for up to 30 days to detect abuse, under its API data usage policies. Neither we nor OpenAI use your data to train AI models.
4. Connected AI tools
If you connect an AI tool such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor under Settings, Connect AI tools, it can read the accounts and data you allow, and it signs in as you. What it reads is sent to that tool's provider and handled under their terms. It can never approve its own changes, and you can disconnect it at any time.
5. Limits and accuracy
AI answers and drafts can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the linked report before you rely on it. Nothing an AI feature produces changes your Google accounts without a person's approval, and no AI feature makes decisions about people.
Each workspace has a monthly limit on AI use, and there is a limit across the whole service. When a limit is reached, the AI features pause until the next month; everything else keeps working.
